The Villa Araiya reflects the typical Japanese, a little bit more sober family house. The interior alone could not be more authentic and allows guests to immerse themselves in everyday life away from Tokyo’s tourist attractions. However, the usual western hotel frills have to be avoided here, but this unique experience is definitely worth it. The small “villa” is also well located, about 2 kilometers from the Royal Palace and the nearest underground station is 10 minutes walk away. Those who do not want a shared bathroom should announce this in advance. And also otherwise, the usual Japanese everyday rules apply here, as that one takes off one’s shoes when entering the house. It could hardly be more authentic than Araiya.
